At update Fitness Appenzell at Rütistrasse 20 (opposite R. Inauen AG) we warmly welcome you. Since 2016 we have offered our comprehensive update range at this location. With our 24/7 opening hours, 365 days a year, we offer you maximum flexibility for your training. Whether you want to build muscle in a targeted way, increase your endurance, take part in supervised group classes or train relaxed while your children are looked after: our competent COACHES support you personally on your fitness journey at any time.

The annual subscription for CHF 699.– is valid at all update Fitness locations throughout Switzerland and includes the complete fitness and class offering, including personal support. Childcare in our in-house Kinderwelt is also fully included in the subscription during supervised times. There are no hidden costs and no enrolment fee. Your training with us is also recognised by the leading health insurers.

Since 2016, at the update Fitness studio Appenzell, we have been supporting athletes from Appenzell, Steinegg, Weissbad, Schlatt and the whole region. We help our guests achieve their health and sports goals sustainably. We look forward to standing by you with advice and support and guiding you to success with our expertise.

At Rütistrasse 20 you will find modern cardio and strength equipment, a versatile free-weight area and customer-friendly 24/7 opening hours (around the clock). Train completely independently of fixed times, whenever it fits perfectly into your everyday life. Getting here is also especially convenient: free parking spaces are available right at the studio, so your training can start completely relaxed.

Always supervised thanks to our liveCOACH

The fact that our centre in Appenzell is open around the clock does not mean you train unsupervised. During the remotely supervised times, our innovative liveCOACH system is there for you personally. Via the interactive info terminal directly in the centre, you can get in touch with your liveCOACH at any time at the push of a button.

• Personal advice: The liveCOACH has an overview of the entire training area and can advise you individually, answer training questions or provide assistance.
• Full safety: The liveCOACH sees the centre in real time and can communicate directly via the loudspeaker system if needed or call the rescue service and on-call service in an emergency. 

Introductory training sessions continue to take place during the on-site supervised times. This way you train completely flexibly and independently, while always enjoying the safety of professional supervision.

Varied group classes on site & CyberCycling

Sport should be fun and motivating. In Appenzell you benefit from a varied programme of supervised group classes on site. From strengthening workouts to health-oriented movement courses, there is something for every fitness level. A particular highlight at our Appenzell location is also our CyberCycling, where you can experience a virtual and exhilarating endurance workout.

Health and family: the update Fitness Kinderwelt looks after your little ones

We know from experience that it is not always easy for parents to find time for their own health in a busy everyday life. So that you can work on your fitness without organisational stress, there is a dedicated Kinderwelt in the update Fitness centre Appenzell.

There, your children are warmly welcomed during supervised times and can play, draw and have fun. Together with other children the little ones have a good time while you improve your physical wellbeing. Our trained staff look forward to giving you and your children a pleasant stay at the studio.
