Sinetrol: The Natural Fat Burner
How you can specifically support your fat loss and do your metabolism some good
Recent studies show that excess body fat has become a pandemic: as early as 2006, half to two-thirds of the population in industrialised nations were overweight or obese. Too much body fat, especially around the abdomen, increases the risk of cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes. Obesity is further characterised by negatively altered blood lipid levels, so-called “low-grade inflammation”, as well as oxidative stress. For this reason, reducing body fat is necessary not only for aesthetic but also for medical reasons.
In the following article, we show you how targeted intake of secondary plant compounds - in this case polyphenols from Mediterranean citrus fruits – can directly minimise the health risks mentioned above and help you specifically reduce body fat.
In a recent study from 2013 (Dallas et al. 2013), researchers demonstrated the impressive effects of a polyphenol blend (Sinetrol®) from Mediterranean citrus fruits on body fat mass, inflammatory metabolism and oxidative stress. For this purpose, they recruited 95 inactive, healthy but overweight women and men aged between 22 and 45. The study participants were randomly divided into two equally sized groups. While one group took 450 mg of Sinetrol® (a NATURAL polyphenol blend from Mediterranean citrus fruits) 2x daily for 12 weeks in addition to their normal eating habits, the other group was given a capsule of maltodextrin 2x daily (an ineffective placebo for control purposes). Neither the researchers nor the study participants knew which group the subjects belonged to. This ruled out any influence, and any effects could be attributed directly to Sinetrol®.
The following effects could be measured with regard to “body composition” (***, statistically significant differences, P < 0.001):
| Placebo | Sinetrol-XPur | |||||
| Start | End | Change (%) | Start | End | Change (%) | |
| Body weight (kg) | 77.39 ± 1.23 | 75.78 ± 1.23 | -2.09 ± 0.17 | 78.14 ± 1.35 | 75.52 ± 1.25 | -3.28 ± 0.24*** |
| Body fat (%) | 36.87 ± 1.48 | 35.85 ± 1.51 | -3.18 ± 0.33 | 37.97 ± 1.59 | 34.36 ± 1.49 | -9.73 ± 0.54*** |
| Waist circumference (cm) | 88.44 ± 1.09 | 87.02 ± 1.02 | -1.56 ± 0.20 | 88.68 ± 1.05 | 83.53 ± 0.87 | -5.71 ± 0.35*** |
| Hip circumference (cm) | 109.90 ± 0.96 | 108.47 ± 0.99 | -1.35 ± 0.19 | 110.08 ± 1.21 | 104.91 ± 1.23 | -4.71 ± 0.29*** |
Taking Sinetrol® thus led to marked improvements in body weight, body fat percentage, and waist and hip circumference. In addition, Sinetrol® improved the parameters of inflammatory metabolism and oxidative stress.
Based on this data and further studies conducted with Sinetrol® and similar blends of secondary plant compounds from citrus fruits, I recommend taking 900 mg of Sinetrol® daily for 12 weeks, several times a year if needed. Sinetrol® and synergistically acting nutritional supplements are combined in the update Nutrition Slim Burner.
