Questions and answers
What is a Stopcard?This option lets you interrupt your annual membership as many times as you like, until 12 months of training have been completed. Ideal for holiday or seasonal breaks. Each interruption can last from one month up to a maximum of one year.
If you can't train due to an accident, illness, pregnancy, military service or a business stay abroad, we'll pause your membership free of charge. A certificate (e.g. a doctor's certificate or marching orders) is required for this.
Does my health insurer contribute towards my membership?Your training at update Fitness is supported by leading health insurers.
Does training with a coach cost extra?No, the coach is available to you for training sessions. It's free to train with the coach. Just book an appointment at the centre of your choice.
Can I train at all locations with my membership?Yes, your membership is valid at all locations. All locations also have the Pulse strength machines. So you can train with your training plan in every update gym without having to adjust anything.
Do I need to book an appointment for a free trial?If you'd like to do a free trial with one of our trained coaches, you should book an appointment for it. For a group fitness class or a solo session, you can also just drop by the centre of your choice. Have fun!
Is there a registration fee?No, update Fitness has no hidden fees such as a registration fee.
Can I pay for my membership by invoice?Yes, once you've received the invoice, you have 30 days to settle it.
Can I also pay for my membership in instalments?Yes, however a surcharge of CHF 30.- is charged for each instalment. A maximum of 3 instalments is possible.
Do I have access to the Online Fitness area as a member?Yes, every member has a login for the Online Fitness area. Have you forgotten your password?
